Thank you for your last letter. I got your birthday card too! You asked about my bunny. His name is Oreo and he's black and white.

My school participated in the Quiz Bowl. Our class was a Team, and we had to answer questions and compete against the other 5th grade classes in our school. We came out first and got to compete with the whole state. Our scores were sent in and we found out that we placed eleventh out of 54 schools. Our teachers were very proud of us and we even got doughnuts and orange juice. We did our best when we worked together as a Team.

It has already snowed in Lansing, Michigan a few times. I bet it never snows in California. Tell me if it does. I love the snow; it makes everything pretty. Winter is my favorite season of the year.

Thank you for everything you gave my class and me. The T-shirts are really cool. A lot of people in my class are getting the MMC calendars out and asking for everyone's birthdays. Thank you for the nametags, pencils, and rulers. Bye for now and write back soon!
